VinRobotics, based in Hanoi, Vietnam, is revolutionizing corporate operations with a fleet of autonomous robots addressing labor shortages and challenging tasks. Join our in-office team to help bring our vision of autonomous robot deployment to real-world problems.

We are looking for multiple distributed system engineers. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable tools and systems for AI training, behavior evaluation, data management, and deployment on robots. The ideal candidate has experience creating a robust infrastructure for large-scale deep learning systems and a passion for innovation in robotics and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software tools to manage data, train deep neural networks, and deploy AI models on diverse robot platforms.

• Collaborate with AI and robotics engineers to define software requirements and lead the development of scalable solutions.

• Develop, run, and maintain reliable backend distributed systems for large-scale AI applications.

• Work closely with customers to define and execute deployment strategies for robots in production environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of professional experience building reliable backend systems.

• Proficiency in Python and experience with at least one ML framework (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow).

• Experience with Linux and command-line tools.

• Familiarity with managing and using data stores (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing HPC clusters for training deep neural networks.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of job scheduling and orchestration tools (e.g., SLURM, Kubernetes, LSF).

• Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef).

• Experience building tools for data annotation and dataset management.
