[FASD] Junior Robotics Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated Junior Robotics Engineers to join our innovative robotics teams working on cutting-edge automation projects including bin picking, mobile manipulation, precision assembly, and surface finishing. Key Responsibilities
Support the development and testing of advanced robotic applications across multiple domains
Assist with implementation of perception algorithms, motion planning, and control strategies
Contribute to system integration activities and debugging across various robotic platforms
Help collect and analyze data from sensors including cameras, LiDAR, and force-torque sensors
Participate in the testing and optimization of end-effectors and tooling
Document code, experimental results, and technical procedures
Engage actively in learning opportunities, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentorship activities
Support demonstration data collection and learning-based approaches to skill transfer
Required Qualifications
BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Strong academic performance and fundamental understanding of robotics principles
Demonstrated passion for robotics through projects, competitions, or previous work
Hands-on experience building or programming robotic systems
Programming skills in Python and/or C++
Basic knowledge of robotic frameworks (ROS, etc.) and control concepts
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
High motivation and eagerness to learn new technologies
Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in robotics
Preferred Skills
Previous experience with robotic manipulation or mobile robotics projects
Familiarity with computer vision, perception, and sensing technologies
Understanding of control theory and its application to robotic systems
Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, etc.)
Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts for robotics applications
Previous internship, research, or project experience related to industrial robotics
Exposure to industrial manufacturing processes or automation challenges
