Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Robotics Business Development Director, who will be central to driving VinRobotics’ expansion across domestic and international markets (US, EU, Asia...), developing enterprise-level partnerships, and aligning sales strategy with the company’s long-term technology roadmap. This role shape and drive our commercial strategy, lead a high-performing team, and build long-term partnerships across robotics, manufacturing, and smart infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market-entry and expansion strategies in Vietnam and international markets (US, EU, Asia...).
Oversee the full sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, presales, bidding, negotiation, and closure.
Drive cross-functional alignment with R&D and Marcom departments to ensure commercial strategy supports the company’s technical roadmap.
Collaborate with product and technical teams to build data-driven business models, including data factory business models, use case integration frameworks, service-based/recurring revenue models for robotics and automation solutions.
Build and maintain a strong client and partner network in automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing and investment, fund rising ‑ related partnerships.
Drive marketing alignment for demand generation, solution positioning, and brand messaging & positioning
Monitor market intelligence, industry shifts, and competitor activity to refine positioning and inform leadership decisions.
Report to BOD on commercial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related technique fields.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, solutions selling, business development, or strategic partnerships in a similar role in Vietnam and overseas
Strong track record in building and leading BD teams, managing large pipelines, project bidding and solution sales, and delivering revenue growth in robotics, manufacturing and automation sectors.
Skilled in product/solution management, presales, technical-commercial alignment, marketing and business planning.
Experience in developing international markets such as the US, EU, Asia, ...
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-tech sectors such as robotics, industrial technology sectors, or AI.
Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships related to investment and fundings.
Background in scaling commercial functions in startup or innovation-driven environments.
Existing network within manufacturing, logistics, or smart infrastructure initiatives (domestic or international).
