About the Role

VinRobotics is seeking motivated and talented young engineers who have recently graduated or have 1–2 years of experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering to join our team as Wiring Harness Design Engineers.

In this role, you will receive structured training and hands-on experience in robotics electrical systems, wiring harness design, and product development. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable and efficient electrical interconnection solutions for advanced robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development Path

During the onboarding and development phase, engineers will progressively acquire the following competencies:

• Understand robot system architecture and electrical/electronic (EE) system design.

• Learn the functions and interactions of major robotic modules and subsystems.

• Perform wiring harness troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and 2D engineering drawings.

• Use TCE (Teamcenter Engineering) tools to search, review, and manage engineering documents, BOMs, and design data.

• Support wiring harness development activities, including:

  • Harness routing and packaging

  • Harness 2D drawing creation

  • 3D modeling and routing

  • Design documentation release

• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and validation teams throughout the product development process.

Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, quality requirements, and manufacturability considerations.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronics Engineering

  • Mechatronics Engineering

  • Automation Engineering

  • Or related engineering fields

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

• Basic understanding of:

  • Electrical systems

  • Electrical components and connectors

  • Wiring and power distribution concepts

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced robotics environment.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Experience in wiring harness design, electrical integration, or related activities.

• Familiarity with CAD tools for harness design.

• Knowledge of:

  • Wiring harness architecture

  • Connectors, terminals, cables, and protection components

  • Electrical manufacturing processes

• Experience with Teamcenter (TCE) or other PLM systems.

• Experience with any of the following tools is an advantage:

  • CATIA Electrical

  • NX Routing

  • AutoCAD Electrical

  • Solidworks

• Basic understanding of robotics, automotive, or industrial electrical systems.

• Ability to communicate in English in a technical working environment.
