VinRobotics, based in Hanoi, Vietnam, is revolutionizing corporate operations with a fleet of autonomous robots addressing labor shortages and challenging tasks. Join our in-office team to help bring our vision of deploying autonomous robots to solve real-world problems.
We are looking for a manufacturing engineer to join our team. You will work in the mechanical team with the goals to advance the development and manufacturing process of our general-purpose robots.
Responsibilities
Design and optimize manufacturing processes for robotics systems, focusing on assembly, testing, and quality control.
Oversee production schedules, material procurement, and workflow to meet targets efficiently.
Develop tools, fixtures, and testing rigs to support consistent, scalable production.
Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and BOMs to ensure streamlined operations and compliance.
Implement inspection processes and quality standards across manufacturing stages.
Manage vendor relationships, optimize material sourcing, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Plan production capacity and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of 3D printing, assembly, machining, welding, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing practices, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
Skilled in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Autodesk) for tool design and machining operations.
Familiarity with QMS frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality assurance implementation.
Understanding of materials and processes for metals, plastics, and composites.
Experience in procurement, vendor management, and logistics.
Ability to conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and process improvement for profitability.
