Minister of Science and Technology Holds Official Working Session at VinRobotics Headquarters

On the afternoon of August 20, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung conducted an official working session with VinRobotics, underscoring that sustained focus on research and product development is a decisive factor in the success of a technology enterprise.

During the visit, the Minister toured VinRobotics’ laboratories and workspaces, where he was briefed by the company’s Vietnamese leadership and engineering team on advancements in intelligent robotics technologies. He also observed demonstrations of robots showcasing conversational and interactive capabilities, as well as the ability to proficiently simulate industrial tasks at the VinFast factory. 

The Minister emphasized that the true measure of an enterprise’s success lies in having customers ready to adopt its solutions. He highlighted the substantial resources Vingroup has dedicated to VinRobotics, supported by its robust industrial, technological, commercial, and service ecosystem—creating an environment where robots can be readily applied and deployed.

Following the tour of the headquarters, the Minister and the delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology convened an in-depth working session with VinRobotics’ leadership. Minister Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng expressed strong interest in the company’s approach to research and product development, encouraged open discussion of challenges, and explored strategies to effectively leverage resources throughout the company’s growth journey. 

In response to concerns raised by VinRobotics regarding Vietnam’s technological infrastructure—particularly the deployment of 4G/5G networks and the operation of emerging enterprises—the Minister provided comprehensive clarifications and guidance.

The Minister instructed the company to develop national standards for robotics in Vietnam and to actively participate in government programs aimed at optimizing the use of state support funds. He further emphasized VinRobotics’ pioneering role in advancing robotics and in cultivating high-quality scientific and technological talent for the nation. Concluding the meeting, the Minister commended the VinRobotics team for achieving significant research and development milestones within a remarkably short period of time. 

The working session concluded successfully under the guidance of Minister Nguyen Manh Hung. VinRobotics Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ngo Quoc Hung, expressed his appreciation to the Minister for his special attention and valuable insights, which he noted had opened new perspectives for a young and fast-growing enterprise. He affirmed the company’s commitment to accelerating product development and commercialization, thereby contributing to advancing Vietnam’s digital transformation in the new era.
