Hanoi – On the morning of August 19, 2025, the inauguration of the Vietnam National Exhibition Center (VEC) officially took place, marking a historic milestone in the series of 250 projects celebrating the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025). After less than 10 months of construction, the massive exhibition complex of more than 900,000 m² has taken shape along Tu Lien Bridge Road (Dong Anh, Hanoi). It has been recognized as the largest exhibition center in Southeast Asia and one of the Top 10 worldwide. The ceremony was graced by the presence of senior leaders as well as representatives from various central ministries and agencies.

On March 14, 2025, a delegation from VinRobotics visited Tsinghua University’s Department of Electronic Engineering to discuss potential collaborations in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). The visit not only fosters technological exchange but also opens up collaboration opportunities to strengthen partnerships in fields such as in computing architecture, data platforms, and industrial innovation, fostering advancements in technology and its practical applications.

Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup on November 20 announced the establishment of VinRobotics JSC, with a charter capital of 1 trillion VND (40 million USD), aiming to revolutionise production efficiency and optimise processes across industry, services and daily life through production and integration of smart robots and robotic products.

December 24th 2025, in Hai Phong, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with VinFast and VinRobotics. The collaboration will create a knowledge exchange platform for students and faculty of HUST, enhance the quality of labor in Vietnam’s high-tech industry, and promote sustainable development from 2025 to 2030.
