Job Description

As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at VinRobotics, you will lead the development of software components for our autonomous robot fleet. Your role will encompass architecting robust systems, enhancing robot autonomy, and mentoring junior engineers, directly impacting the performance and reliability of our robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and deployment of advanced software systems for robot navigation and manipulation.

- Develop sophisticated tools for algorithm development, visualization, and debugging.

- Conduct performance analysis and optimize robot behaviors through software enhancements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve hardware-software integration issues.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and architecture development.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience deploying software in real robotic systems.

- Deep proficiency in modern C++ and Python programming languages.

- Extensive experience with ROS/ROS2 and Linux-based development environments.

- Strong understanding of robotic system architectures and multi-layered software stacks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with multi-DOF robotic arms or industrial mobile robots.

- Proven track record of integrating machine learning into robotic pipelines.

- Expertise in designing modular, reusable software for production-grade robotics.

- Familiarity with AI-driven development tools and simulation environments.
