Job Overview
The PMO is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing intelligent robot system development projects from research and design through prototyping, testing, and commercialization. This role serves as a key link between cross-functional teams including AI, Robotics, Mechanical, Electronics, Software, and Business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the strategic goals of a fast-growing technology startup.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of robot development projects, from concept to deployment.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (AI, robotics, hardware, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless collaboration.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and technical reviews with internal teams and stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between technical development, business objectives, and market requirements.
Manage external vendors, partners, and research institutions when required.
Support leadership with project reporting, decision-making insights, and roadmap planning.
Adapt project plans quickly in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in robotics, hardware, AI, or deep-tech startups.
Strong understanding of product development cycles involving both hardware and software.
Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) & Tools ( Jira, MS Project)
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Fluent English is a big plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
Experience working on robotics system, autonomous systems, or advanced robotics platforms.
PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications.
Familiarity with AI/ML development, embedded systems, and mechatronics.
Experience scaling products from prototype to mass production.
Passion for robotics, innovation, and building cutting-edge technology from the ground up.
