Job Overview

The PMO is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing intelligent robot system development projects from research and design through prototyping, testing, and commercialization. This role serves as a key link between cross-functional teams including AI, Robotics, Mechanical, Electronics, Software, and Business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the strategic goals of a fast-growing technology startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of robot development projects, from concept to deployment.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (AI, robotics, hardware, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless collaboration.

• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.

• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

• Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and technical reviews with internal teams and stakeholders.

• Ensure alignment between technical development, business objectives, and market requirements.

• Manage external vendors, partners, and research institutions when required.

• Support leadership with project reporting, decision-making insights, and roadmap planning.

• Adapt project plans quickly in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in robotics, hardware, AI, or deep-tech startups.

• Strong understanding of product development cycles involving both hardware and software.

• Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects.

• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid) & Tools ( Jira, MS Project)

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Fluent English is a big plus.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

• Experience working on robotics system, autonomous systems, or advanced robotics platforms.

• PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications.

• Familiarity with AI/ML development, embedded systems, and mechatronics.

• Experience scaling products from prototype to mass production.

• Passion for robotics, innovation, and building cutting-edge technology from the ground up.
