Role Summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented UI/UX Engineer to design and develop the user interfaces for our advanced Warehouse Execution System (WES). This role will be pivotal in creating intuitive monitoring dashboards and functional mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with our robotics fleet and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate has experience building both web and Android applications and thrives in a collaborative development environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Web-Based Monitoring System Development

• Dashboard Design & Implementation: Develop and implement a web-based UI/UX for real-time operational oversight.

• Task Management Visualization: Design interfaces to clearly display and manage tasks categorized by status: completed, in progress, or scheduled for execution.

• Robot Monitoring: Create intuitive visualizations for monitoring the real-time location and error statuses of all Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) within the system.

2. PDA (Android) Application Development

• Mobile Interface: Design and develop a robust PDA application (Android) focusing on workflow efficiency and user experience in a warehouse environment.

• Data Capture: Implement features for scanning rack and product codes (e.g., using camera or integrated scanner hardware).

• External Communication: Program for the application to handle secure and reliable communication with external systems such as the MES for data exchange and transaction processing.

3. Collaboration & Integration

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Software Engineers and Robotics teams to define user requirements, finalize design specifications, and ensure successful overall UI/UX and system integration.

• Usability Testing: Participate in user testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve the design and functionality of all interfaces.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development (Junior to Mid-Level).

• Web Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with a modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

• Mobile Development: Experience developing and deploying native or hybrid applications for Android (e.g., using Kotlin, Java, or React Native/Flutter).

• Design Tools: Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

• UX Principles: Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, usability, and accessibility standards.

• Ability to translate complex operational data and system statuses into clear, actionable, and visually appealing interfaces.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience designing applications for industrial, logistics, or warehouse environments.

• Familiarity with consuming REST APIs for data retrieval and submission.

• Previous exposure to robotics or automation monitoring systems.
