VinRobotics, based in Hanoi, Vietnam, is revolutionizing corporate operations with a fleet of autonomous robots addressing labor shortages and challenging tasks. Join our in-office team to help bring our vision of deploying autonomous robots to solve real-world problems.

We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to design and validate cutting-edge power systems for robots. You will play a pivotal role in creating power architectures, designing PCBAs, and supporting system integration to ensure reliable and efficient power delivery for complex robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual power architectures and conduct trade studies to inform key design decisions.

• Design and validate PCBAs for power-critical components, including power converters and motor controllers.

• Participate in and support design reviews, including schematics, layouts, and other documentation.

• Contribute to system integration and testing by executing tests and debugging power electronics systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 3+ years of industry experience in power electronics design.

• Strong understanding of power converter topologies and control theory.

• Hands-on experience with low voltage (<60V) DC/DC power converters or motor controllers.

• Proficiency in sizing and designing discrete power electronics components, such as controllers, gate drivers, MOSFETs, inductors, transformers, capacitors, and sensing circuits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Altium or similar EDA tools for PCB design.

• Expertise in PCB layout, including designs for power converters and EMC mitigation.

• Experience simulating power electronic circuits using tools like LTspice.

• Familiarity with high-voltage applications and protection circuitry.

• Experience working with embedded control systems or digital power control systems.

• Strong programming skills in C or Python.
