Job Description

Act as the focal point for coordination with Legal and R&D departments to implement and draft strategic cooperation agreements, MOUs, NDAs, JDAs, JPAs, Co-Development, Licensing, etc., ensuring that all commercial, legal, and technical terms are tightly controlled. Support negotiation and monitor the execution of agreements with domestic and international partners.

Serve as the primary contact for implementing strategic cooperation activities with enterprise partners and government agencies (Government Affairs). Responsible for drafting, coordinating, and tracking strategic cooperation contracts, MOUs, NDAs, JDAs, JPAs, Co-Development, Licensing, Sponsorships, Government MOUs, etc. Support the establishment and management of a network of strategic partners (both domestic and international) to drive the company’s growth, innovation, and market expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership Contract Management and Execution

    • Draft, review, and revise various strategic partnership agreements (MOU, LOI, NDA, JDA, Co-Development, Supply/Tech Agreement, Sponsorship, Government MOU, etc.).

    • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Technical, R&D, and Procurement departments to align on cooperation terms, obligations, and risks.

    • Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies and approval guidelines (CEO/Board approval).

    • Manage and monitor the full contract lifecycle: negotiation – approval – signing – implementation – renewal/termination.

  • Partner Development and Management Support

    • Assist in evaluating potential partners, collecting capability profiles, analyzing risks, and assessing technological and financial capacity.

    • Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare, submit, and monitor strategic cooperation proposals.

    • Participate in contract and commercial agreement negotiations alongside management.

    • Maintain the partner database and consolidate weekly/monthly/quarterly cooperation reports.

    • Build and maintain relationships with technology companies, international corporations, startups, research organizations, and universities in strategic areas (EV, AI, Robotics, Smart Manufacturing, etc.).

    • Organize and support partnership meetings, signings, conferences, and roadshows.

    • Collect and assess partner capabilities; propose suitable cooperation models (co-development, licensing, joint venture, pilot project, etc.).

    • Manage the partner database and provide regular reports on cooperation progress, effectiveness, and potential.

    • Support implementation of MOUs/Agreements with Ministries, Departments, Research Institutes, Universities, International Organizations, and Embassies.

    • Monitor and update policies, R&D support programs, investment incentives, technology transfer regulations, and national standards.

    • Coordinate with internal departments to prepare reports and documents for submission to government agencies, and to organize official meetings, delegations, and government–business cooperation signings.

    • Support the handling of arising issues related to legal procedures, planning, or industrial policy concerning partners or strategic projects.

  • Process Management and Compliance

    • Coordinate with the Legal Department to update standard contract templates (templates, checklists, approval matrices) for each cooperation type.

    • Propose improvements to processes, forms, and guidelines to shorten handling time and enhance risk control.

    • Track the progress of contractual obligations (deliverables, payments, IP transfer, milestones, etc.).

  • Market Intelligence and Analysis

    • Continuously monitor and analyze robotics and actuator technology markets to identify trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for innovation partnerships.

    • Report insights clearly to the R&D and management teams to guide strategic technology roadmaps.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Law, International Relations, Diplomacy, Business Administration, or equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Strategic Partnerships / Commercial Legal / International Contracts / Business Development / Government Affairs.
    Preference given to candidates with experience in corporations, technology, manufacturing, investment, or international consulting firms.

  • Professional Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, international commercial contracts, IP, NDA/JDA/License, public–private or enterprise–research institute cooperation models, and internal governance in large organizations.

  • Skills: Negotiation, bilingual contract drafting (English–Vietnamese), cross-functional communication, report synthesis, legal–commercial risk analysis.

  • Language: Fluent English (reading, writing, contract drafting, working with international partners). A second foreign language is a plus.

  • Personality: Detail-oriented, logical, proactive, cooperative, able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

KPIs & Performance Evaluation

  • Percentage of contracts completed on time (%).

  • Rate of legal/commercial risks detected and mitigated.

  • Internal and partner satisfaction levels.

  • Average contract processing cycle time.

  • Number of strategic contracts successfully signed and implemented.

Working Relationships

  • Internal: Strategy Division, Legal, Finance, Procurement, R&D, Investment, Technology Divisions.

  • External: Strategic partners, technology suppliers, R&D partners, legal consultants, and government agencies (when required).
